Essential requirements

~ Bachelor of Early Childhood Education

~ Diploma in Early Childhood Education

~ Cert III Early Childhood Education

~ Willing to obtain a Cert III Early Childhood Education

To be considered for these positions:

  • You must hold or are working towards a qualification in Early Childhood Education.
  • You must be willing to obtain a NSW Working with Children Check (over the age of 18)
  • You must be willing to complete the national safety training
  • You must be willing to complete a First Aid Certificate
  • A commitment to child safety and the Rights of The Child
  • You must be reliable, professional, punctual, enthusiastic, passionate about children's education, safety and value inclusive practices
  • Able to form relationships with children and families
  • Able to work in a team, take initiative and willingness to accept responsibility
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An understanding of and commitment to observation and documentation
  • Alert, active and observant

Certificate III Traineeships with WWEYLC

  • Successful completion of CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care 

This role comes with a lot of variety and the chance to get some highly sought after experience. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

  • Ability to form strong relationships with children, families and the community
  • Supervision of children interacting, playing and educating the children
  • Maintaining a safe environment at all times
  • Assisting with meal times, sleep and personal care of children
  • Cleaning duties as required                               

What are we looking for?.... Our ideal candidate will have the following;

  • Willing to have a strong commitment to child safety
  • A genuine love for supporting the growth and development of children 
  • A strong desire to pursue childcare as a long term career
  • Lots of energy and a positive attitude
  • Be able to commit to a full time role while completing study online and on the job
  • Eligible to gain a Working with Children’s Check
  • Current driver’s licence would be an advantage however not essential

You will have the support from the Registered Training Organisation who will visit you on-site on a regular basis throughout your Traineeship. Working hours include Monday to Friday.
