Welcome to WWEYLC

Wagga Wagga Early Years Learning Centre (WWEYLC) is a proudly family-owned and operated business that first opened in 2012. Located at Turvey Park, Glenfield Park, and Boorooma, WWEYLC provides safe, nurturing, and educational environments that reflect each child’s diversity, strengths, needs, and interests. We are licensed under the Education and Care Services National Regulations and all of our services are proudly rated Meeting
the National Quality Standard.

At WWEYLC, the safety, wellbeing, and protection of children is our highest priority. We are strongly committed to creating and maintaining child safe environments where every child feels safe, secure, respected, and supported. Child safety and child protection practices are embedded into all aspects of our daily operations, policies, procedures, and educational programs. All educators and staff are required to hold valid Working With Children Checks and complete ongoing child protection and child safety training to ensure they understand their responsibilities in protecting children from harm and maintaining a strong child safe culture.

Our educators actively promote safe and supportive relationships with children while maintaining professional boundaries and high standards of supervision, care, and engagement. WWEYLC works closely with families, staff, and the wider community to ensure children’s voices are heard, their rights are respected, and their wellbeing remains at the centre of everything we do.

Our rooms are welcoming, light, and spacious, thoughtfully furnished with a focus on natural materials that encourage exploration, discovery, creativity, and interaction. Outdoor environments continue this philosophy, fostering children’s appreciation of the natural world through sustainability-focused experiences including vegetable gardens, worm farms, and recycling programs.

Nutritious meals are freshly prepared onsite each day by our cooks in accordance with current healthy eating guidelines. Menus focus on whole foods, fresh fruit and vegetables, and balanced nutrition, while catering for all dietary requirements.

WWEYLC offers educational programs guided by the Early Years Learning Framework within a Long Day Care setting. Educators develop programs based on their strong knowledge of each child’s individual strengths, interests, and developmental needs, using intentional teaching strategies and tailored learning environments to support meaningful learning outcomes. We highly value our partnerships with families and the wider community, with our university-trained Early Childhood Teachers and Educators working closely alongside families to support children throughout their fundamental early years.
